Their initial farewell tour launched the first Lollapalooza festival, an annual touring alternative rock showcase. Meat Loaf Video Showcase  [ Edit ]  Site Reviews (0) I generally don't admit these things, but I will say it here: I had Meat Loaf: Bat Out Of Hell on 8-track tape. And, I nearly wore it out. I love that album. I went on to purchase it on cassette, and then CD. I can't help it, I just love his songs - and judging by the amount of albums he's sold, and the number of times you hear him...I'm not the only one. I also caught a movie about his life on VH1 a number of years ago - one of those true musical history things they used to do. I found I liked him even more after learning more about him - he seemed like a good person, in addition to his talent.
