What is the Isle of Squid?

The Isle of Squid is a Directory of Squidoo Pages that have been screened for quality. It allows you to find the best Squidoo Lenses for the topic you are interested about.

What Links can I submit to Isle of Squid?

Isle of Squid is designed to showcase Squidoo and pages created with the Squidoo platform. If you have a Squidoo page (lens) then feel free to submit it. It will be accepted if it meets our submission guidelines. If you have a Squidoo related website, then you may submit it ONLY under the category 'Squidoo Related'. These submissions will also be screened for quality and applicability.
How do I get my Listing 'Featured'?

There are currently two different ways to get your lens featured for Free!

For every 10 lenses you submit and have approved, you can receive a Free featured listing for any one of your submitted links.
For every 3 insightful and original review left by you, you can have another lens featured. Reviews should be at least a few sentences long.

My Reciprocal Link is not Working.. What do I do?

The original reciprocal link code would look something linke this ' http://isleofsquid.com/in.php?ID=45' . Due to some server issues with such small filenames, the reciprocal link structure has been changed to the following: 'http://isleofsquid.com/in2.php?ID=45' This should fix any Reciprocal link issues and your 'hits in' will be tracked correctly.

Free Lens Featuring is only available for the first 100 featured spots. They are going fast so get to it!

Lens Submission Guidelines

All of the lenses submitted to Isle of Squid are hand-reviewed for quality. Some of the requirements we look for include:

Fully published and searchable through Squidoo (no un-published or Adult lenses, please)
No default Module titles
Introduction Picture and text in the introduction
No 'Great Stuff from Amazon/Ebay' Module titles

Note: If your lens is not accepted, we will atttempt to contact you either through your squidoo 'contact me' link or through the e-mail supplied in the application.
